The things I've learnt in life

Primary School Trip
Primary School

I enrolled into ChongZheng Primary School in 2006. Nothing too special happened back then, but I did get to go on a school trip to Perth in 2011. I met friends that I still keep in contact with till this day. I got appointed "Green Captain" and "Root Guardian" back then, and they were essentially roles of the student councils. My grades were never outstanding so in the end, all I got was an aggregate of 200. I was in 2 CCAs, Rugby and Infocomm Club. Didn't really enjoy both of them but I got appointed President for the Infocomm Club. Overall, I would say my Primary School Experience is far better than I would have expected it to be.

Secondary School Trip
Secondary School

I enrolled into Loyang Secondary School at the age of 13, 2013. I was a troublemaker back then, often getting into trouble with the teachers and students. My grades were also very bad in the first two years, I had an L1R5 of 40 points and I almost had to repeat Secondary 2. When it came to secondary 3, I decided to change things in my life, I wanted to stop being such a loser and I wanted to change my way of life. So I did, I hit the books non stop and worked my way from 40 points to 10 points. It felt great in the end, having teachers actually believe in my abilities and also having more self-confidence in myself. In 2016, my year of O-levels, I was given the opportunity to go on a school trip to Hokkaido, I had recommendations from 3 teachers, so I had no choice but to accept it. It was a great time for me as I learnt more about the Japanese Culture. All in all, my Secondary School life was pretty much a rollercoaster ride, I failed so hard in the beginning but got back up in the end with a L1R4 of 10 and L1R5 of 13.

Singapore Poly
Current state of studies

Enrolled into Infomation Technology in Singapore Polytechnic in 2017. I had no interest in this course but I only thought it looked really cool. Intially I wanted to go to psychology, but their cut-off point was 9 and I wasn't gonna get in, so I chose something that I thought would be fun, which was Infomation Technology. Seemed Fun, Looked Fun, wasn't fun. Studying this course was super difficult since many of my classmates had background knowledge but I didn't have any. I worked hard in this course so I got a GPA of 3.85 at the end of Semester 1 and I hope to atleast maintain it till the end. The things I'm learning and the friends I'm making are really making my time here less painful, and everyday seems to be alittle bit more fun for me.
